A secluded spot, completely peaceful with a stunning view of the Bergamasque hills. Public transport is nearby. The owner was very courteous and offered useful tips for traveling or dining. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. The shared bathroom, though beautiful and clean, is always a drawback for me; when you’re in a hurry it’s always occupied.

Close to the center, checked in earlier than the booking. The bedding was thin, nights were cold—no heating, radiator blocked. There’s no way to air out towels after a shower; the house rules say keep them in the room. There’s a peculiar musty smell in the house. The owner’s daughter doesn’t keep the kitchen tidy, leaving pots in the sink. No blinds or curtains in the bathroom, so you can’t shower privately without being seen by a neighbor.

Cleanliness was good. The breakfast had to be prepared by yourself.

The location is good. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The breakfast was a bit limited (only two pieces of packaged pastries and one yogurt per person) and the kitchen was unusable even though it was listed as a feature.

No breakfast, but that’s not a big deal in Italy; there are cafés nearby! All the essentials were present, and the walk to Bergamo’s center is a pleasant route for good walkers (50 min), though public transport also works well. Bergamo is definitely worth a short trip! The hosts were a bit reserved; a little more communicative friendliness would have been nicer.
