We stayed at Masseria Gorgognolo for two nights, booking two rooms, and absolutely loved our stay. With only five rooms, the whole place feels incredibly intimate and peaceful. It is family-run, and you can really feel it in the hospitality — the welcome was exceptionally warm and genuine, and we immediately felt at home. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were great, and everything was cleaned and refreshed between our two nights. The food was another big part of what made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, with a lovely buffet including homemade cake and granola, and we also really enjoyed having lunch at the Masseria. But dinner was the real highlight. The food was absolutely excellent. If you're staying here, we would definitely recommend having dinner at the property rather than automatically heading elsewhere in the evening. Another detail we really appreciated was having electric bikes available to explore the area and cycle along the coast. Such a nice way to enjoy the surroundings without having to take the car. A special mention has to go to Lucia, who was wonderful throughout our stay — and incredibly helpful even before we arrived. We had mentioned that we wanted to celebrate a birthday at a nice restaurant and spend a day at a private beach with sunbeds, and she took the time to recommend several places that matched exactly what we were looking for. Once we had chosen the restaurant, she even made the reservation for us. Her recommendations were spot on, and we really appreciated how helpful, accommodating and attentive she was. If you're looking for a small, peaceful and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Puglia, this is a wonderful choice. The combination of the intimate setting, fantastic hospitality and excellent food made our two nights here a lovely part of our trip. We would happily come back!
