Lovely little house in a pleasant town in the hills outside Rome, about 45 minutes to an hour from the capital’s centre; the host was very welcoming and helpful, all facilities for self‑catering were available; breakfast was supplied along with surplus items if needed, juice, milk and water were provided plus some toiletries; the shower is a bit uncomfortable for taller or larger people, it’s in the bath and attached to the wall so the shower head isn’t very high, I’m not a fan of packaged breakfast snacks, and unfortunately the hosts are still awaiting permission and a certificate (as per Italian law) to serve home‑cooked breakfast products.
