The hostess was incredibly friendly, engaging, and generous, even upgrading us to the hot tub suite; everything about the place was lovely, and there were no complaints at all.

The food was fine and the staff were helpful and delightful, but the downstairs room disappointed us: noise from the room above leaked through the ceiling, the beds felt uncomfortable, and some areas like the dressing table stool had a worn cover that needed replacing; overall, we felt the stay was overpriced compared to similar standard properties we visited later.

Some of the food was very good, though the selection was limited, and the location and surrounding area were stunningly beautiful; three very sweet clear plastic pods in the garden were not suitable if it was busy, warm, cold, or raining. It cannot be called luxurious because there is no lounge or bar, and our bedroom was a very small twin room, not what we wanted; the timings were very inflexible, and there was nowhere to go except our own bedroom.
