“Lovely B&B, but we had the wrong room”

The breakfast was excellent, the garden and house were lovely, and the overall setting was quiet and snug, with a great honesty bar; however, the room itself fell short of expectations—beams everywhere meant we constantly bumped into them, the bed was narrow and short so we couldn't sleep well, the curtains let in too much light from early morning, there was no full mirror in the bathroom except a small make‑up one, and the steep entrance with a very low ceiling felt dangerous when carrying a heavy suitcase.

“Schönes Haus in guter Lage”

The host was pleasant, the location beautiful, and the breakfast very good, but the roof room was unacceptable because of the sloping ceilings, especially at full price which should have cost only half as much; you can only get into the room and bed by crouching, and the double bed is very narrow.

We adored the welcoming hosts, the easy access, the location, the views, the quietness, the breakfast, the luxurious bathroom and bath, and the comfortable bed.
