The staff were lovely and helpful, the large room with a fridge was very comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and the location was brilliant – I’ll be back for our fourth visit later this month.

The place was close to the beach and shops, and the room was comfortable; nothing else stood out.

The location was great, the room comfortable, the shower fabulous, everything was very clean, the instructions to access were clear, and parking was good; we were taking our daughter to university and just needed a cheap room for a couple of nights. The decor could use a bit of an update, but for the price and what we wanted – a comfy clean bed and good shower – it was totally fine.

The location was good, good value for money. It was clean and beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. There was no place to hang wet towels. The shower area was a bit small

The location is great, perfect for walking straight down to the beach and not noisy like the centre. It’s nice they have a small gym, although I didn’t use it. The bed was really comfy and the facilities were quiet and clean. There’s also a fridge in the room, which is really useful. Small things really: in my room there were no towel rails at all and no drawers to put clothes in. There was a walk‑in cupboard but it only had three coathangers (I asked and got more). Although having a fridge is useful it was really noisy. It didn’t stop me sleeping, but I imagine it might for some people. The drinking water situation was strange. The company advised not to drink tap water and to fill up from the water filter located on the ground floor. I had to go up and down three flights of stairs each time I needed to top up… this was quite inconvenient, but I got used to it! Also there are no plugs near a mirror… didn’t bother me… but could be an issue for others.
