“10/10 Enjoyable and Comfy Stay”

The place was perfect for three small families to relax together for a week. The outdoor area, kitchen, and pool were great, and the views were wonderful. You’re close enough to two towns for meals, groceries, and the sea. We didn’t realize the property was split into two dwellings, and the kids kept wanting to stay in one part, but we managed. Also, taxis going uphill from Almyrida (25‑minute walk) are spotty and can wait a long time for anyone who can’t walk up a steep incline.

“Great hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone to stay here”

The hotel was amazing—spotlessly clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the staff welcoming beyond measure, always ready to help. Cleaners left sweet notes and treats every time they tidied the room, which was adorable. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety, and the location was great, just a 15‑20 minute walk along the beach into the bustling streets of Rethymno. When we checked out, they handed us a small bottle of alcohol and olive oil as a gift, plus a packed breakfast for an early start, which we truly appreciated. The rooftop pool was a bit small but fine for our needs since we were out exploring Crete most days, while the indoor pool felt freezing.

“Beautiful relaxing break”

The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff were lovely. The facilities were good and the location was perfect for a walk into the old town, which was beautiful. The spa was not great; I used it once on a rainy day but left quickly because it was dimly lit and quite chilly. There was a lot of noise from the nearby road, but it didn’t disturb our sleep.
