The first people were lovely, a friendly family who welcomed us warmly. Big thanks to Luh for her help. There’s a small warung inside the house for local meals. Lipah beach is a 10‑minute scooter ride or 60 minutes on foot for snorkeling or diving. The village is remote, outside the tourist zone, and very quiet at night. Highly recommend.

Putu & Ilu made our Amed stay unforgettable with joy. We stayed in a quiet part of town, easily reached by a scooter they provided. Plenty of snorkeling boats were available for the best coastal spots, and a friendly local offered a good price. Taxis were also arranged by Putu for longer trips. A Buddha café nearby is perfect for sunrise on the beach. We were invited to the autumn equinox ceremonies and felt part of the community. We’ll definitely drop by if we’re back in Bali.

The property is excellent. It’s a 2‑star place but the facilities exceed that rating. Don’t judge by the pictures; they don’t reflect the room size. The owner is amazing. There are many other amenities like massage, sunrise trips, food, and more.
