Eddrachilles Hotel

The spot is great, and we spotted several seals right at the harbor beneath the hotel grounds. The afternoon tea was fantastic and the staff were very friendly.

“Perfect stay with wonderful staff, great food, so comfortable, all perfect!”

The hotel blew us away and went beyond what we expected; every staff member welcomed us with free hot drinks and cakes. We ate at the restaurant in the evening, the menu was a solid choice and the food was delicious. Breakfast had plenty of options, all cooked to perfection, and they even added homemade bread. The rooms offered beautiful views and were incredibly comfortable—I wish we could have stayed longer! Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect, thank you so much.

“A complete joy to visit.”

Everything was lovely and the staff were wonderful. The cooking—both dinner and breakfast—was first‑class. Afternoon tea and post‑dinner coffee were just added bonuses. The other guests were so relaxed that everyone chatted as if they were all just house guests. The shower was a little disappointing, but that was a minor issue compared to all the positives.

“Orkney to Oban”

The hotel really goes the extra mile with thoughtful touches like binoculars in the room, a simpler security room access, a telescope in the cozy lounge overlooking the bay, and a corkage option on wine. Everything was good.

“Heerlijk verblijf op een geweldige plek”

The host was exceptionally friendly, the lounge was delightful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the garden was stunning. A little music during dinner and breakfast would make the atmosphere a bit more pleasant.
