The capsule hotel was decent and in a great spot, but they demanded a zairyu card and became irritated and unfriendly when I said I could refuse.

The night was very quiet and I slept soundly, but the bathrobe didn’t fit and I wish there were more sizes.

Because there were no events in Fukuyama and fewer guests on that Saturday, I think I got a quiet night, but I had to eat outside or bring my own lunch, which reminded me of the old on‑site restaurant—it's not terrible, but not great either.
