The spot is great, the lake view from our deck is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. The futon in the room was hard to sit on and there were no chairs, so a proper sitting area would have been better. The road to the lodge is rough and a bit of a challenge, but reaching it is worth the effort.

The view is amazing—truly a hidden gem with stunning cabin and dining vistas. Gigi was very kind and the bartender was very helpful. However, there was a lot of clutter everywhere; right when you drive up, there's a house with a broken patio and a pile of junk outside. The front desk is covered in random cards, so it's unclear how to check in or find the dining area. Also, the cabin patio needs comfortable chairs; the current ones are uncomfortable despite the amazing view.

The girls who led the horseback riding were amazing. The place is quiet and offers great views.

There was no internet in the cabinets, no kitchen or even a sink besides the bathroom, no comfortable chairs, and the bed linens were cheap. A lot of dust was under the bed, and the cabinets were isolated. I ended up eating at the lodge, which was expensive.
