“Soggiorno tranquillo in un palazzo storico”

The historic house is close to Alberona’s center, the staff is incredibly friendly, the breakfast is good, and everything is clean. There are two safety notes: 1) As stated on the property’s page, there is no air conditioning, but it isn’t needed, even on the hottest evenings, because Alberona is high and cool. 2) The parking is on Via Ripa, in front of the building; if you come from the provincial road, it’s better to go via Via Orientale instead of Via Puglie, which is a steep climb. When leaving, go via Via Puglie as it’s downhill.

“Fuga per un giorno”

The welcome was outstanding; the owner of the B&B was very friendly and happy to give directions on how to get around, what to see, and which local dishes you shouldn’t miss. The property itself was pretty and clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. The room faced the sun all day, had no mosquito net, and lacked air conditioning. Using the fan made my nights noisy and disrupted my sleep.
