“Beautiful historic hotel”

The historic Drake looks stunning, and the staff were fantastic. We enjoyed afternoon tea in Palm Court, where the décor was gorgeous and the tea selection superb—definitely one of my best tea moments. Breakfast at the café was tasty, and the bar offered good food with live music on weekends. However, the rooms didn’t match the hotel’s opulence. We stayed in a double deluxe lakeview room that wasn’t as clean as it should have been; when I mentioned it at the front desk, they promptly sent someone to fix it. The window view was fine, but the glass was dirty, so the scenery wasn’t as impressive as expected. The beds were comfortable, but aside from the lavish lamps, the room lacked the luxurious feel of the public areas. Still, this constructive feedback didn’t diminish our enjoyment of this beautiful historic property.

“Alles gut für zwei drei Nächte .”

Everything was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The location is very central, and parking is nearby. The equipment feels very old.
