We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Dome: secluded, well equipped inside and out, and very clean. You get access to the farm and the lava tunnels, and can watch turtles for as long as you like. The staff look after you wonderfully. We’d love to come back. Breakfast is excellent and healthy. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations, but the staff help you catch a bus to town if you need dinner (easy ride).

Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, healthy fruit, yogurt, and an amazing cheese omelette. The presentation had fruit arranged like a tortoise. A delightful experience! The German tour guide was a walking encyclopedia. Living as a guest with these tortoises here was AMAZING! The highlight of my Galapagos trip. While only 1/2 hour from town, it was the BEST nature experience—with a lava tunnel tour right on the property and passing amazing century‑old tortoises—an indescribable moment. The remarkable tour guide immerses you in the adventure. *****

The Tortoise Dome Lodge is surrounded by lush nature, teeming with birds, and the main attraction for us were the giant tortoises! They roam freely in the Galapagos Frontier where breakfast is served. The lodge itself is very comfortable and beautiful, offering hot showers, AC, TV, fridge, indoor dining, outdoor dining, a hammock, and lights. There are no dinner options on the property, and lunch is uncertain. However, Puerto Ayora is just a short bus or taxi ride away, and Julio gave us the bus schedule and a taxi contact.

Directly in the green, all animals up close. Turtles at breakfast. Informative tour, impressive lava tunnel.

We loved how private the dome was. It was very clean and great design. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even helped me throw a birthday surprise. The hosts could have provided shampoo and so to shower with. Additionally a typical AC would be much better as the one provided was very loud and not very refreshing
