Vigo Retreat is a fantastic spot to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings; in the mornings you can hear birds chirping, which was very soothing. We had a great time doing picnics outside, grilling, and just strolling around. The bed was comfortable and the Yurt, adorned with fairy lights, added a lovely touch. Andy and his wife were incredible hosts, replying quickly to messages and greeting us warmly, and Winnie the dog gave us a sweet welcome. We absolutely adored our stay!

“An Oasis for B&B”

This place is a real treat if you're looking for something different - think unique huts, barns, or yurts in a beautiful field. I stayed in a yurt with all the essentials, including a TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and comfy beds. The bathroom facilities were just a short walk away, which wasn't a problem at all. The location is perfect for exploring Kent, visiting National Trust sites, and getting to Brands Hatch - it's a great base.

What a lovely spot - the setting is beautiful and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is really cosy and had lots of little touches to make our stay extra special. We felt right at home.

“Most pleasant and unexpected find”

We absolutely loved our stay here - the setting is stunning, and the owners have done a great job of balancing comfort with a focus on wildlife. The breakfast was just okay, but everything else made up for it - and a big thanks for lending us the wheelbarrow to fix our fire! The hosts and their family were really helpful, and we even scored some seeds from their gorgeous hollyhocks. One tiny bummer was the cloudy sky during the meteor shower, but that's just bad luck.

It was great to be surrounded by nature - even in the yurt, we had some unexpected visitors like caterpillars and ladybirds. The setting is beautiful, and it's a perfect spot to unwind with family or friends. One small thing that would have made it even better - static fairy lights instead of flashing ones. We couldn't figure out how to change the setting.
