The authentic vibe, immaculate cleanliness, and superb breakfast made everything great, though I missed seeing the restaurant. That’s a reason to return. The stairs add to the authenticity but require good leg strength; it would help to specify that you want to stay on the first floor to limit the climb to just one flight.

The spot inside the old town was excellent, making it easy to stroll to all the beautiful landmarks, and the breakfast felt very authentically German. The only downside was that there was no parking at the hotel, which is a town‑wide problem due to the narrow streets; we had to park outside the town, roughly 600 meters from the hotel.
