Talking with the owner went smoothly, the walk to the sea was easy, and being able to use the resort next door’s beach facilities made the stay better; the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we didn’t get a sea view as the website promised, the bungalow construction felt shoddy, there was no internet in our unit, we were right next to the dirt road so it wasn’t the quietest spot, insects swarmed the bungalow so we had to use mosquito nets, and we only had blankets—no sheets to sleep under.
The airy bungalows are surrounded by shaded trees where you can watch many birds. The location is calm, about 150 m from the sea. Every bungalow has electricity, water, Wi‑Fi, and a small terrace. You can feed yourself at the Rakkan or in nearby restaurants. The only drawback is that the toilet bowls sometimes need to be emptied.
