The rooms on the first floor are decent, but the price isn't worth it even though it's cheaper than most places in Bar Harbor.

The location was fine, but the place felt very old. The mattress was springy and noisy, everything seemed unchanged since the 80s, and the view from the back window was just a run‑down trailer park with a hot tub on a picnic table and…

The place was well situated, not bad but good. The hotel isn’t a “brand” hotel and mostly matched what I expected of that. But at night we found the shower didn’t work. My husband was fine with a bath, I wasn’t. It wasn’t spotless. Maintenance redirected the water to the shower instead of the bathtub the next day, leaving only a trickle in the shower.
