The location is great. It’s a small town with a wonderful nearby restaurant, all within walking distance. Initially the person who was supposed to receive us wasn’t there, and when I arrived I showed the app, but the name on our reservation was different; eventually they accepted. I found the room quite small, and my wife didn’t like the cleanliness because of dust buildup.

The vibe was cozy and chill, and the spot is great if you’re exploring north western Maine, though the upstairs rooms got really hot and had no temperature control.

The host answered any questions I had right away, the hostel had a nice vibe and was tastefully put together, and the price was reasonable; all in all, a great stay with no criticisms—just what the hostel was meant to be.
