I got good value for money, the washroom was shared with just one other room, and parking was available but limited; however, it wasn’t the cleanest.
“Perfect for an affordable Whistler stay”
The private room with a private bathroom was great, and although a hostel doesn’t usually provide coffee, a microwave, or a fridge like a motel, the second floor had excellent shared facilities for those needs; it was good value for Whistler and I’d recommend it if your budget can’t meet Whistler prices. The bed was on the hard side, the TV remote didn’t work at all, and maintenance had to turn it on, but there was no volume control and it had to be unplugged from the wall to turn off; the soap dispenser in the shower was empty and I had to buy a cake of soap because staff said it wasn’t included in the room description, which I found hard to believe since the soap dispenser near the hand basin was working.
“Solid place to stay when avoiding overpriced hotels in Whistler!”
We stay here often when visiting for hikes!. Sewage smell coming out of the drain pipes
“a truly great value within walking distance to the TrainWreck site and surrounded by walking/running”
This place offered great value; it was my first time staying in a hostel and it turned out to be way better than I expected, with nothing negative.
The staff were welcoming, but the small curtains let in far too much sunlight, waking you up very, very early in the morning.
