“Couple stay”

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. We didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The bar has a lovely atmosphere. A short walk from Killarney town. Would highly recommend.

The Tigh Mary Donal’s first shines with its friendly and helpful staff. Also worth highlighting: really good breakfast. If you want to avoid the inner‑city tourist bustle (and accept the street location as a compromise), Tigh Mary Donal’s is well suited, especially since Killarney’s town centre and the Gleneagle Arena are both conveniently within walking distance. If you want a drink in the evening, the pub is excellent. For a hotel that sits directly on a street and has some rooms almost directly over the pub, bringing earplugs is essential, and then sleeping is no problem. But for such a tiny room on the street and pub side, we found the price to be a bit steep.
