Penzion Pivovar Podlesí

“Věřím, že mohlo dojít pouze k nějakému menšímu pochybení v úklidu. Jinak personál velmi vstřícný!”

The restaurant’s interior and the pension’s exterior were nice, and the staff were very helpful with the booking, which I appreciate. However, the bed was a used mattress, the sheets yellowed, and the walls were dirty, as the colleague who slept there told me.

Everything in the room was clean, smelled good, the staff were pleasant, the food tasted great, and we’d love to stay again—thanks for everything. The rooms are spacious, but a larger table or a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would be welcome.

The location is excellent for exploring the hills.

“Za 1600 na noc se tak dobře jinde nevyspíte.”

The staff were great, both in the evening and for breakfast. How can people be normal so close to Prague? The cheap bedding and the bathroom fan not working were the only downsides, but I won’t criticize too much; we’ll probably stop by again if the situation improves.

“One night in Příbram.”

Parking is good, the breakfast is very good and the staff are helpful. Part of the property includes a restaurant and brewery; the beer was excellent, especially the 11‑degree one, and the food was good too. The room was fine except for the beds, which were very narrow and uncomfortable.
