“Bearable for the night. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.”
The staff were helpful and friendly, but the bathrooms and room were barely cleaned, mold was on the ceiling, and the shared male and female bathrooms were below average.

The price was reasonable for what was offered, and the beds were among the best I’ve slept on.

The staff were rude and made me feel really unwelcome.

The staff were welcoming and the bistro meals were quite good, but when we arrived after 6 pm the room wasn’t prepared, so we were moved to a smaller room with two singles instead of a queen and a single. Later, after a meal and a few drinks, I noticed a wet pillow and damp area under it because water was leaking from the roof onto the bed. I talked to the lady at the bar who inspected the room. I suggested they restore the original room, but she said it was already booked and they were fully occupied. The furniture had to be rearranged and the bed re‑made. The bar lady called the manager/owner, apologized, offered a full refund, but said I had to arrange it myself because that’s where I had paid.

The bedding was decent, parking was available, and the shower was hot. The noise was a catastrophe: pigeons made a lot of noise all night (really loud) and the pub next door played loud music until 2:40 a.m. without any control, making it hard to sleep.
