Friendly staff, decent breakfast bar, comfortable beds, but the card reader on the door didn't work, the ceiling was so thin I could hear the room above, the floor creaked loudly with every step, and the TV remote had no batteries.

Not much to say positively, but the reception had a terrible smell, the staff were rude, they demanded payment for parking even though no such charge was mentioned online, and when I asked about it I was told I didn’t have to stay at the hotel, I requested a refund and said I’d go elsewhere, yet I was told no refund would be given.
