The room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the owner’s service is excellent. If you can’t have breakfast because of tours, they’ll give you take‑away items. It’s well situated; away from the busiest streets but still within 10 minutes on foot to anywhere. The only downside was our room was on the first floor next to the street, so we heard a lot of traffic and people.

Breakfast is simple, but Maribel is always available and supplies fruit and eggs. The rooms are comfortable; there’s no air conditioning, but they gave us a fan that helped a lot. The shower is very good.

She was very kind, even though we had to communicate in Spanish. It’s behind the bus terminal, so it was a bit noisy, but we enjoyed a beautiful view of Los Andes.

I stayed in a simple room that had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was basic, just processed items, but we were on early tours every day and they gave us a bag of everything we needed, which was a huge help. The shared kitchen is always very clean. Maribel, who runs the place, is very friendly and attentive. The hostel isn’t right next to Caracoles, but it’s a pleasant walk away and you still get a beautiful mountain view. The rooms don’t have great sound insulation – we could hear the neighbor’s snoring, but it didn’t bother us much because we were exhausted from the tours, haha. Also, we’re tall and the bathroom shower head is low, so we hit our heads a few times when getting in and out.

The lodge is comfortable, near Caracoles Street, and has a view of the volcano. Maribel welcomed us warmly and was attentive throughout our stay.
