“Comfortable and cozy”
Nice accommodation with a welcoming host. Very clean and cozy. Close to the Danubiana art gallery. The village offers two good restaurants and an archaeological site. Nearby woods are perfect for walking or cycling. Warmly recommended.
The location was good, but it was scorching hot and our room was on the ground floor with only one window that could be opened onto the street. The street noise kept us awake all night, so we didn’t get much sleep.
“Foarte slab, nu recomand!”
The person who welcomed us and handled check‑in was very friendly and spoke English very well; the beds and bedding were clean. The room is marketed as triple but is not suitable for three people, and it is not specified that it lacks air conditioning even though the general facilities list it as available. There is no proper parking; you can park in front if you’re lucky, but it’s stressful to avoid blocking the entrance and pedestrian access, and there’s an old, damp smell at the entrance. Check‑in and the coffee area are in a kitchen where the hosts stay, and it feels like you’re intruding; they eat there. When you enter the apartment, a thick, farm‑like carpet smell hits you—very dirty, dusty, and the bed is full of dust (my husband has asthma and it was a nightmare for him). There’s no space to turn back if there are three people; you have to climb onto the bed from the front. The bathroom is very small, renovated but still no air even with the fan on while showering. It was very hot, the window was open, we slept but there was noise and neighbors next door could see us in bed; everything was prepared for two people—two chairs, etc. It was just one night, a nightmare; I don’t recommend it and would never return, even for free.
A very nice pension with an excellent location and good access to Bratislava. The pension is truly well-equipped, featuring a large shared kitchen, a beautiful terrace, a fridge and a TV in the room. The room was cozy and clean, with a small balcony. It was a very pleasant and tidy place; we will definitely return.
A handsome, pleasant man who spoke good English served us, treated us to beer, and offered coffee from the machine for breakfast. A large, well‑equipped kitchen was available for guests. We brought our dog, paid a €10 surcharge, and had to be careful because there were cats on the premises. Overall, a very good impression and a good one‑night stopover, but not suitable for a longer stay. The bed was fine, but the pillows were unacceptable—I ended up sleeping without one.
