The villa sits in a quiet, secluded spot and we stayed in two rooms that were clean, spacious, and had comfy beds. The Sri Lankan breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Talalla beach is just a 2‑minute drive or a 15‑minute walk away, stretches over 2 km, and is almost empty; nearby there are plenty of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the cat family that played around us, and Nisha, our host, was amazing and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Free laundry was also available. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi was down because of a provider issue and one of our rooms had a non‑working air‑conditioning unit.

“Welcoming, charming, and affordable!”

We felt very welcomed by Nisha, who is a great host—attentive and very friendly. The villa has everything you need and the location is perfect, only a 10‑minute walk to the beach and a market nearby. Breakfast was delicious and balanced, and the surroundings are green with plenty of animals and birds. It’s highly recommended and quite affordable! At night, the tourists next to our room were loud and unaware of basic respect standards, but that’s part of the experience. ; )

“Top! Sehr zu empfehlen !”

Serendip Villa is a solid, safe, quiet house with plenty of options to stay or work: the garden, terrace, balcony, dining area, etc. It’s clean and the rooms have air‑conditioning. Breakfast is plentiful and well‑prepared, and free water is provided. The villa is also within a short walking distance to the beach, various shops, and the bus stop—perfect for staying comfortably for a longer time.

“10/10!”

The room is absolutely comfortable and the lady is one of the sweetest and most gentle people we have met on our travels. Finding anything else was difficult.
