I had a fantastic stay at Free House – the location was spot‑on and the rooms were comfortable with top‑quality linens and towels. The owner was always very friendly, and I’ll definitely book again. The only downside was that the in‑room Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty.

The lodge felt cozy, the room was spacious, and the family‑friendly vibe made it a great choice in Alto Paraíso. Everything was perfect – no complaints.

The suite I stayed in was beautiful and cozy, offering a lovely garden view. It was situated just behind the main street, and both the host and her father were extremely kind and helpful throughout my visit.

No air conditioning and a single‑bed mattress in a double bed was awful. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom and the screens didn’t work.

The owner is very attentive. The place is strategically located, safe, and very close to the town center. There’s a nice little balcony with a table, two benches, and a hammock where I could watch the macaws fly. The internet on the street outside the lodge was weak—my connection was only 3G—but the lodge’s Wi‑Fi was fine. One night there was a show in a nearby venue, which was a bit uncomfortable for me since I sleep early, but it didn’t really affect my sleep.
