Very convenient location, near a pedestrian street with many shops. Cleaning daily. Good view from the window. European cuisine available at breakfast. Friendly staff. The beds were small. We booked a room with two double beds, but the beds turned out to be one‑and‑a‑half‑bed, a bit tight for two adults. Also the windows in the room do not open.

I stayed at a hotel where everything was perfect. It was a family trip with two young children, and because we stayed in a great place, Shanghai became an unforgettable joy. The room was spacious, spotless, and impeccably maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared with many options, so I always felt well fed each morning. The hotel sits right in front of Jeil Department Store and Shinsegae Center, and a 5‑minute walk takes you to Nanjing Donglu pedestrian street. When a hotel is far from attractions, you drain a lot of energy on the way, but this location was superb, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making the whole trip comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to the Marriott Marquis City Center staff, my Shanghai trip turned into a wonderful memory.
