The location and staff were good, but there was no proper window and the room clearly needs renovation.
The staff were friendly, but the toilet had a loose seat, a loose flush button, and the toilet paper was placed so you had to be very flexible to reach it; for us tall people the toilet was also very low.
The location is perfect, near the harbour and centre, 20 min walking from Oslo S or with tram 12 just 3 stops; breakfast was magnificent and the bed comfortable; a supermarket is next to the hotel; the room was nice and there was a teapot and instant coffee, which was great for an early check‑out like mine. The staff were not polite, there was no greeting and limited information about what and where… I wanted to book an additional breakfast, had it on the first day, but on the second day I wasn’t on the list and had to go to reception to explain what I’d spoken with the reception the day before. The room was not clean – the floor was dirty, the toilet was dirty, and in the garbage can there was someone else’s garbage, just one package of bonbons, but that was still not acceptable for a 4‑star hotel. Very nice hotel with bad performance.
Parking was extremely tight, even for people who are used to driving large vehicles.
