The only issue was that another couple cut through the area that looked straight into my courtyard/pool while they were heading to their room – I was getting dressed at the time. Also, the pool staff cleaned the apartment’s pool twice a day, which was a disruption and an invasion of privacy when I just wanted to relax in an otherwise fantastic venue.

“Great hotel! Excellent service, delicious breakfast,”

The hotel was fantastic – top‑class service, tasty breakfast, a private heated pool, and breathtaking views. We arrived two days late because all ships were canceled, but the management kindly refunded us for the missed days, and I’m truly grateful for that.

The staff were friendly and responded quickly to requests. The owner demanded all credit card details, including the secret code, which violates international law, and asked us to leave passports at reception, which also raises concerns. This wasn’t mentioned in the booking terms. After three hours of discussion with booking, he agreed to accept cash, no less than a €300 deposit. The money was returned at check‑out, but the experience left me rattled. The apartments themselves don’t justify a 5‑star rating, and there’s only a private pool. Definitely won’t return.

The property was clean and gorgeous, and it wasn’t far from town. We had to climb a huge hill, but that gave us a workout several times a day, so my glutes feel firmer – is that really a downside?
