Casa Radu - Zece Hotare

The magical Transylvanian silence and genuine hospitality! We rode our motorcycle into Casa Radu. The last 4 km are currently under road construction, but the enchanting natural setting makes up for it. The accommodation feels like a cozy Transylvanian open-air museum: authentic, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. The jacuzzi is perfect for unwinding after a day of riding. The hosts’ hospitality is simply unparalleled: they were cooking blueberry jam as soon as we arrived and offered us homemade pálinka, fresh greasy bread, local cheese, and tomatoes. We’re grateful for the experience and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

“Authentic, traditional look from Apuseni region, with modern facilities”

Casa Radu is a beautifully refurbished old house. The endowments are state‑of‑the‑art, but the design is still the very traditional one. The surroundings are wonderful, with lots of opportunities for hikes. Also, the generous courtyard offers enough distractions for kids. The host was most welcoming! The road there is a bit bumpy for the last 5 km, but that is hardly within the power of the host.

“We will definitely go back .”

Everything you need is there. The owner is helpful and at your disposal. The big beds are easy for two adults and a 3‑year‑old to sleep in. The floor‑heating system keeps your feet nice. Everything was fine.
