The room was very clean. My two friends and I booked a long weekend, but the other two guests stayed only one night and left. It wasn’t clear that there would be shared bathrooms. In the one room that had an “en suite,” the toilet was so small you had to back in, and the shower area was tiny. The building’s stairs are narrow and steep. Finally, even though I left a door sign asking for my room to be made up, it didn’t happen. The accommodation might work for someone younger who likes mountain climbing and cheap lodging, but it definitely didn’t suit me.
“Absolutely shocking.will never go back”
Nothing! The room that was advertised is not the room I got; I am surprised they are still in business. I will be contacting trading standards and I want my money back. The £200 + a night room I was supplied was worth more than the 80 90 at best. Please see above.
“Disappointing”
The door access code would not work on my arrival, but the employee at the end of the phone did manage to send me a new code in about 10 mins and I gained access. Central location to town. I stayed at the Hamptons Brighton for one night on a cycling weekend. It was disappointing. The photos on the website are outdated, there is no sea view unless you go outside and to the end of the road. The shower knob was broken and although I managed to get it working it was not ideal. The carpet could do with changing and a good clean up. Just as well it was only for one night only and I was alone. Not a place to take your wife or partner. Can’t see how some people have rated this accommodation highly – something is very strange!
“Moved out after one night”
Convenient location, clean. The place is tired and shabby, with many missing or wobbly items. The thin mattress is very uncomfortable.
Parking is a challenge
