We were there for the fourth time and everything was very good: the nice staff, the lovely rooms, and the truly good food.

The hotel's location is perfect, but the facilities feel pretty outdated.

The central location was ideal and the spa treatment was wonderful, while breakfast offered a large selection and was very good. We stayed in the top‑floor attic suite, which was cosy and quiet, though only suitable for people comfortable with stairs, as a single spiral staircase leads up to it. The long climb was manageable over three days but would be tiring for a longer stay.
