The location is right by the ferry and next to the White Horse Hotel, which is great, and breakfast is pretty good. I booked a lake view room, but on the first night I found out it wasn’t a lake view room and there were no other rooms left. The next day I asked for a change, but because it was peak season, the room I got wasn’t the same as the one in the picture and didn’t face the lake directly.

The setting in the center of St. Wolfgang is beautiful, the hotel atmosphere is excellent, and the staff are helpful. The facilities include a bar, a quality in‑house restaurant, and a private beach. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in three rooms as a family with adults, children, and grandchildren, and we really enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately, it was too hot during our summer stay, with temperatures over 30 °C making it somewhat uncomfortable without air conditioning, even though the room had a powerful fan. Using the air conditioning might be restricted by some regulation, as we didn’t see any compressors on other buildings.
