Guest House Nuit Blanche

This was a gift to my parents who came to Belgium when my child was born. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The house itself is beautiful, with extraordinary details both inside the rooms and in the common areas. They enjoyed the quiet time they shared with the host while he painted in the garden and outsiders were not allowed in yet. The host was marvellous (we spoke on the phone, I can attest), he spoke to them in Spanish and shared some local knowledge, and made them a deluxe artisanal breakfast. It was truly special for them and I am very grateful that they got the gift they deserved thanks to the exceptional hospitality service the host provides. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience a bit of authentic local culture and get away from the rush tourism

“Must Overnight Stay”

Staying in this medieval gem gave me breathtaking views of central Bruges, and the two rooms were impeccably kept. Painter David De Graef, who owns and lives here, let us admire his art and even consider taking a piece home; he was a gracious host, ready to help with anything. The cobblestone streets made the 15‑20 minute walk from the train station with a suitcase a bit tough, and in the early afternoon the city gets crowded with day‑trippers and tour groups.

“Nuit Blanche made a delightful city even better. It was the whipped cream on the waffle.”

I had the chance to sleep in a 15th‑century house that still feels modern with its bath and a breakfast that was both delicious and beautiful; we stayed for three nights and it was the best spot in town. The city itself is gorgeous, the bed was comfy, and there’s nothing I’d change.

“Fenomenal”

The location is unbeatable—a stunning ancient house right in the historic center with a literal, unobstructed view of Onze Lieve Vrouwenkerk. The mattress on the big bed felt a bit soft for us, but that’s just a personal preference.
