We stayed in a lovely, clean, and spacious dog-friendly lodge with breathtaking views. The site was immaculate, peaceful, and had the added bonus of Craftworks for a meal or drink. The location was perfect for exploring Padstow and the surrounding area. While the mattresses could've been more comfortable, we'd definitely return. It would've been nice to have drawers in the bedrooms for longer stays.

We had a hiccup with the key safe box when we arrived, but the excellent reception and maintenance staff quickly sorted it out. The lodge was exactly as shown in the photos - clean, spacious, and well-equipped with beautiful views. Although we didn't bring our dog, the lodge and park are clearly dog-friendly. One minor issue was the e-charging point, which had faded instructions that were hard to read. We used the ones by reception instead.

The location was great, and the host was easy to communicate with, even allowing us to rebook with a new credit card. However, the house was very basic with minimal amenities. We had to ask for towels and shower gel, which weren't provided. The water pressure was also a problem, and the seating in the lounge wasn't very comfortable. The furniture felt too big for the space, and the pillows were a letdown. It wasn't the luxury property we were expecting.

We felt like we were staying in a luxurious villa - the decor was stunning, the beds were super comfy, and the bathrooms were gorgeous. The place was well-equipped and perfect in every way. We couldn't find anything to complain about.

The lodge was perfect for us - my wife and I both said we could live there. We had a lovely relaxing time, and Padstow exceeded our expectations. Our short break was absolutely perfect, and we wouldn't change a thing.
