The place is tucked in a forest, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, showing great potential. The chef is excellent, grilling chicken so that it stays juicy. However, the hotel functions more like a pre‑party venue for wedding halls, which is a big mistake. Information wasn’t passed along; I finally received the room I booked, but it was a triple and it was clear that the host only had one towel for the guest. The room wasn’t cleaned during my stay, and the trash bag filled up after two days. Breakfast cost 40 zł, but there was no bread selection, unlike other Łódź B&Bs where 49 zł includes a variety of cheeses, meats, bread, milk, eggs, hot dogs, sausages, juices, etc. Here there was only bread, which is a problem for me because I’m insulin‑resistant and can’t eat that. The receptionist made me scrambled eggs, but since there are chefs preparing the banquet rooms, they could have made a proper breakfast; it’s the owner’s decision. Ventilation was weak and steam from the bathroom created fog in the room. I was given a towel that had a hole hidden under the pillow. The staff are kind and helpful and would do more if they weren’t following the boss’s orders. They don’t know how to handle the Swedish‑style low table, yet they keep it. The hotel’s three‑star rating seems like a mistake; it competes with Łódź’s twin‑star hotels. It’s a potential spot for a three‑day trip and a night, with a bus line that lets you explore Bydgoszcz and stay there. There’s no air conditioning and the windows aren’t sound‑proof, but that didn’t bother me at night, even though some loud people can’t sleep. I hope the owner will treat this place as a hotel, not a bedroom for party guests.
