This charming accommodation is a 20-minute walk from Beechworth Town Centre and a 15-minute walk from Lake Sambell, with Albury Airport a 50-minute drive away. The old Beechworth Asylum gives the property character, and the large room—though it got chilly even with the heater—was comfy and warm; the view over Beechworth and the five‑minute drive into town were perfect.

The place sits on a hill with lovely gardens, great parking, and a solid price, so I can’t find anything to criticize.

A short walk to the CBD made the price a good deal, but everything feels dated, the iron leaked, and after arranging a late checkout we had to knock on our door 30 minutes early to explain we’d overstayed.
