I loved the private garden space we had at Golden Oldie, and the house was well equipped with everything needed to make our stay comfortable.

Hot water had good pressure, the beds were comfortable, and the attention to detail was evident.

The beautiful, characterful home is set in a wonderful green surroundings that feel like a treat for the soul; breakfast was good and the town definitely deserves a stop. The only drawback was the cold, as the supplied heaters didn’t make the stay as comfortable as it could have been.
