“Convenient”

The spot was close enough to walk to the supermarket and a pretty good Wine Bar on the beach. The place feels a bit plain but the hostel vibe works well. The kitchen crew cooked eggs for us every morning, and the outdoor dining area was solid. The only downside was the lack of a proper check‑in process; we struggled to let the staff know we had arrived.

The room was clean, pleasant, and offered great views. Parking was available on site, and there were common areas like a kitchen and laundry. I’d recommend staying here for a few days on Pico Island.

There was a kitchen for guests to use, equipped with a ceramic hob, air fryer, fridge, and microwave. Breakfast always featured freshly made fried or scrambled eggs. On Saturdays and Sundays you have to call because there’s no reception, and there are only a few power outlets.

The town itself was the main attraction. 1. There was no reception or any information desk; I had to call to find out what was happening because it seemed non‑operational. To enter the accommodation you had to go through the kitchen. Every morning guests passed right in front of my room, which was next to the kitchen and dining area. 2. The room had damp walls, a hard bed (at least for me), and the bathroom was so close to the neighboring room that the extractor fan could be heard from my bathroom. 3. After I returned from a day out, the cleaning staff left the windows open, risking someone entering. Overall, I felt cheated by the lodging.

“Estancia recomendable”

The room was very spacious with a double bed and an en‑suite bathroom. A shared kitchen was available with all the necessary appliances. Breakfast was included and varied. The hosts were helpful and flexible. Everything was fine.
