“Great location, wonderful staff, but could use some updates and improvements.”
The location is unbeatable—I could walk easily to Kapi Kapi and La Estrella. The staff were genuinely nice, and the grounds were lovely and well landscaped with plenty of birds. My cabin, however, wasn’t very clean, especially the floor, and a few items were a bit janky: the wall fan, toilet seat, shower faucets, and porch light. I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t hot, matching the pool’s temperature. I ordered the trout casado for dinner and it was raw inside at the thickest part; the server offered to replace it, but I declined and ate the rest of the meal, which was great.
