I was thrilled to see crabs on the breakfast menu and local Fukui ingredients made it a satisfying start to the day, but the payment was only taken at checkout, which felt odd since that’s usually at check‑in; to top it off, the previous guest took an absurd amount of time before I could leave, which was a real hassle.
