The furnishings were clean and modern, and the price was reasonable for Fribourg. However, the concierge was unfriendly and spent his evenings smoking and talking loudly right under the rooms, so the smoke drifted into the rooms and with the heat we couldn’t close the windows. There was no security, no key on the room door, and no lockable wardrobe. The kitchen lacked a microwave and some cutlery.

The value for money was very good; the shower, toilet and facilities were clean and of quality. The dormitory bed was comfortable and well equipped, and it was close to public transport. It was a little far from the city centre.
