The Cumbrian breakfast was delicious, the distant views were a treat to wake up to, and the base next to town was quiet with no surrounding noise. It made for a great stay, and now we know how easy the buses are around the Lakes – we’ll definitely return to use them more. Plenty of walking right from the doorstep, and Ian was very knowledgeable, helping us with info for our days out. We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like.

The place was super clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the host was kind. I didn’t know what was causing a door to vibrate every few seconds, possibly the room door, which made a noise that woke me up, especially early at dawn; the vibration was more frequent and annoying. I didn’t say anything because I couldn’t express the problem in English, so I just endured it.

We had the most wonderful time with Debbie & Ian and their very sweet dog. Unlike a lot of places, they're not dog tolerated but truly and deeply dog friendly. Everything was perfect, the location, the room (very comfy beds), the breakfast (Sophie, our dog, loved the sausage served just for her!). Thank you for everything! If we come by in the future we 100% will be staying there again!. Absolutely nothing to say!
