I liked how clean and spacious the room was, and there was parking available. However, a large dog was around; the staff assured it wouldn't bite, but it still made me uneasy.

The hotel is close to Grand Richmond station and the MRT, food is convenient, Wi‑Fi is good, and the balcony is beautiful. On the downside, there’s no hot water tap in the room, so I had to walk down 15‑20 minutes to boil water for coffee. The bed, sheets, and blankets were also lacking.

“Glad to be gone”

The location near the night market was great. The building feels old and poorly maintained, with a room that looks identical to others. The bed linens were worn, grey, and stained; only two tiny bars of complimentary soap, two shower caps, and a single toilet roll were offered. The AC was noisy, and the towels were old. There were no tea or coffee facilities, no fire door, and even the bin had no bag. The photos showed two bedside lamps, but none were actually present; the manager shrugged it off as advertising. This place is a run‑down dive. It’s a decent spot if you just need a roof for a night, but expect rough conditions.

“lovely, caring people clean, comfy, spacious and quiet facilities – very good value for money”

The property was quiet and impeccably clean, with a very spacious room and unlimited Wi‑Fi. Two windows offered a green view. Being only a three‑star hotel, it lacked many amenities, but that was fine because I just wanted privacy and peace. The owner was very helpful and made me feel well taken care of. I didn’t need all the extras for this trip, so the lower star rating was acceptable.
