The location and view are fantastic, but the carpets in the rooms were not to my liking.

The location, the view from the room and the restaurant were all wonderful, but the hotel needs a full renovation to truly merit a five‑star price – the pool looks old, towels come with a card as if they might be stolen, the bathroom is tiny, the hangers are fixed hooks, and so on. The price is that of a higher‑end five‑star property.

The spot is great—central, breakfast tasty, pool good, view nice. The only downside was a hint of rudeness from staff when we tried to hit the poolside before 9 am.
