The place is spot on, spotless, and the staff are friendly—nothing to complain about.

The balcony offers a stunning river view, and a short walk across the street leads to a surprisingly good breakfast spot where the biscuits and gravy feel homemade; the room even has a real coffee maker instead of a Keurig, so I’d definitely come back. It was a bit disappointing that the beautiful on‑site restaurant with its great patio has been closed for so long; the palm trees and new paver patio remain, and it probably was a mini‑resort when it was open, so someone should try reopening it.

The location is great, but the bed was VERY uncomfortable.

The grounds were all torn up, which we weren’t told about; everything was closed, water leaked from the roof, the air‑conditioning gave off stinky water, and the bed was on a tilt.
