Housekeeping was fantastic, checking in daily and mopping the floor while we were there. However, there was only one shared washer and dryer available, no table in our room, a tiny sink, and a lack of pots, pans, and a larger cooking space.

We asked for an early check‑in because we were moving hotels that day, and they let us in at about 12:45 pm, which was greatly appreciated. The king‑size room was spacious and nice, and the price was good for on‑the‑beach lodging. Beware that “oceanfront” does not guarantee an ocean view; half the rooms, including ours, had a huge dune blocking the view, so we had to walk around the dune to reach the beach. The beach itself was in poor condition—smelly and messy. Sand in the room was hard to keep out, but that was our choice. The pool was closed and not heated. The property feels vintage and cozy, but that’s not our style. The office hours were limited, which worried us about emergency staff availability. Also, the door lock was odd and not well explained.
