The bus stops right across from the place, and Brignole station is a 15‑minute walk away. On the website it’s listed as a hotel, but it’s actually a B&B. The breakfast lacked variety – no fruit, and the juice tasted like a kind of Fanta. The Italian pastries were stale, and leftovers from the previous day were still on display. Lorenzo, the manager, was never in sight; all communication with him happened over WhatsApp.

The room was large and comfortable. We only saw the staff member when he handed us the keys, then he vanished. He told us to call him, but every time we tried, he never answered, not even to messages. We were given only a single roll of toilet paper for four days, which was clearly insufficient, and no one came to clean the room or replace the soap, toilet paper, or take out the trash during those days.

We arrived a bit earlier to drop off the car and then head out for a swim. Asked Lorentz where we could park, and he gave us a card that let us park almost anywhere around the accommodation – that was a huge help. Lorenzo is extremely friendly and kind, welcoming us as if we were long‑time family. He was very attentive, compiling a list of nearby beaches and restaurants worth visiting. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bed was large and cozy, and the pillows were especially good. We missed a blanket we’re used to at home, but we still slept well. The bathroom design was pleasing, especially the built‑in seat in the shower, which is practical and comfortable. The room had air‑conditioning, and the large window overlooking the street was fitted with high‑quality blackout curtains, so we could darken it properly. Breakfast was available on site. The breakfast selection wasn’t very large – just a few croissants, jam, cheese, and yogurt to choose from. Still, everything was tasty, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The cozy, homely décor was a highlight. We particularly missed the local cured meats, especially since local bread was also offered. The room lacks a refrigerator, which could be an issue for longer stays. When using the shower, we had a minor inconvenience: the tap had to be pulled back to prevent icy water from the upper showerhead, but aside from that, the bathroom was well‑thought‑out and nicely done.
